Claudia Ferri, born to an ethnically diverse family in Montreal, is multilingual and spent childhood summers visiting relatives along the eastern coast of the U.S. She later lived in Naples, Florida with her parents before landing her first major film role opposite Aidan Quinn and Donald Sutherland in 'The Assignment'. In 'La marraine', she portrays Ines Barbosa-Hernandez, also known as 'The Godmother of the Cali Cartel', in a French crime mini-series based on the true story of Hernandez's rise to power.
