Christina Starbuck, born as Christina Nevada Smith, grew up in a family of high achievers with a successful dentist father and a politically ambitious mother who was diagnosed with cancer. Tragically, she had also lost a sister at a young age. When her father was suddenly imprisoned, Christina felt overwhelmed with the emotional need to support her mother.
