Camila Pitanga, born Camila Manhães Sampaio on June 14, 1977, is a Brazilian actress known for her roles in film and television. Born into an artistic family, she began her career at age six with 'Quilombo' (1984). Throughout her career, she has been recognized for performances such as Bebel in 'Paraíso Tropical' (2007), earning awards like APCA and Qualidade Brasil for Best Actress. She also starred in films like 'Caramuru: A Invenção do Brasil' (2001) and 'Eu Receberia as Piores Notícias dos Seus Lindos Lábios' (2011), winning a Prêmio Guarani for the latter. In 2016, she became the national ambassador for UN Women Brazil.
