Camélia Jordana Riad-Aliouane, born on 15 September 1992 in Toulon to French parents of Algerian descent, rose to fame after finishing third on the seventh season of Nouvelle Star (French version of Pop Idol) in 2009. After her elimination, she signed a record deal with Sony Music and released her debut album 'Camélia Jordana' in 2010. The album peaked at #9 on the French SNEP Album Chart, while her debut single 'Non Non Non (Écouter Barbara)' reached #3 on the French digital chart. Jordana has also acted as a jury member for the Semaine de la Critique section at the Cannes Film Festival in 2021.
