Brittania Nicol starred as Beth, a young gospel singer, in the 2011 film 'The Wicker Tree'. Alongside her cowboy boyfriend Steve, they leave Texas to proselytize door-to-door in Scotland. Initially met with hostility, they are eventually welcomed by Sir Lachlan Morrison in his Scottish border fiefdom of Tressock.
