Birgundi Angel Baker, born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, is an American actor, singer, and dancer who graduated from Howard University's Musical Theatre Program. After moving to Chicago and attending the Launch Showcase, she signed with Gray Talent Group, marking her entrance into the world of television and film. Birgundi was named one of Refinery29's 'Top Actresses To Look Out For in 2018'. She is known for her role in the television series 'The Chi' (2018), created by Lena Waithe, which explores the daily struggles and triumphs of residents on Chicago's South Side.
