Barbra Streisand, born Barbara Joan Streisand on April 24, 1942, is an American singer, actress, and director with a career spanning over six decades. She has achieved notable success in multiple fields of entertainment, earning her the status of one of the best-selling recording artists of all time with over 150 million records sold worldwide. Streisand's accolades include two Academy Awards, 10 Grammy Awards, five Emmy Awards, and nine Golden Globes, among others.
