Barbara Bach, born Barbara Ann Goldbach on August 27, 1947 in Queens, New York, began her acting career after moving to Italy in the late 1960s following a relationship with Augusto Gregorini. She appeared in films like 'Odissea' (1968), 'Black Belly of the Tarantula' (1971), and gained international recognition as Major Anya Amasova in 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977). After her divorce from Gregorini, she moved to Los Angeles, appearing in films like 'Up the Academy' (1980) and 'The Unseen' (1980). She married Ringo Starr in 1981. By the late 1980s, Bach retired from acting, earning a Master's degree in psychology from UCLA and focusing on charity work.
