Audrey Justine Tautou, born August 9, 1976, is a French actress and model who began her acting career at age 18 on television. She made her feature film debut in Venus Beauty Institute (1999), winning the César Award for Most Promising Actress. Tautou gained international recognition for her lead role in Amélie (2001), which received critical acclaim and multiple award nominations. She has since appeared in various films, including Le Libertin and Happenstance (2000), Dirty Pretty Things, The Da Vinci Code, A Very Long Engagement (2004), and Coco avant Chanel (2009).
