Anna Polívková, daughter of actor Bolko Polívka and actress Evelyn Steimarová, is considered one of the talents of the young generation in Czech cinema. After studying at the Prague State Conservatory, she attended the non-verbal theatre department at HAMU in Prague. In 1999, she went to Paris to study at the International School of Physical Theatre. Her first significant role was in Julius Ševčík's film RESTART. She then shone in one of the leading roles in ÚČASTNÍCI ZÁJEZDU as Jolana. Currently, she can be seen on TV screens in the series ORDINACE V RŮŽOVÉ ZAHRADĚ.
