Angeline Dickinson, known professionally as Angie Dickinson, was born on September 30, 1931, and began her career in television during the 1950s. She gained prominence with her role in 'Gun the Man Down' (1956) and later won a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year for her role in 'Rio Bravo' (1959). Dickinson has appeared in over 50 films, including 'Ocean's 11' (1960), 'The Killers' (1964), and 'Point Blank' (1967). She starred as Sergeant Suzanne 'Pepper' Anderson in the NBC series 'Police Woman' from 1974 to 1978, earning a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama. Dickinson's notable film role includes playing Liz Blake in Brian De Palma's thriller 'Dressed to Kill' (1980), for which she received a Saturn Award for Best Actress.
