Loletta Lee Lai-Chun, born on 8 January 1966 in Hong Kong, started her acting career in the 1980s with small roles before becoming a lead actress in 'Devoted to You'. She is known for her work in Hong Kong commercial films and has won a Taipei Golden Horse Award for Best Actress in 1999 for her performance in 'Ordinary Heroes'. In 2022, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at both the Hong Kong Film Awards and the Golden Horse Awards. Lee's parents are of Indonesian Hakka descent from Meixian ancestry.

Story

In order to protect his daughter Ximen Rou (Loretta Lee) from a rapist, wealthy businessman Ximen Jian (Elvis Tsui) sends her to school disguised as a man. Rou befriends scholar Huadao, but when he discovers her true identity, he becomes obsessed with pursuing her. Meanwhile, Ximen Jian's perverted lust leads him to marry a beautiful woman who turns out to be Witch Ji (Shu Qi) in disguise. Witch Ji uses her yin yang magic to kill off Jian's concubines one by one, aiming to exhaust his essence. When Rou and Jian discover Witch Ji's plot, they attempt to expose her, leading to a fierce battle.
