Laura Elizabeth Dern was born on February 10, 1967 to actors Bruce Dern and Diane Ladd. She began her acting career in the 1980s, gaining prominence for roles in Mask (1985), Blue Velvet (1986), and Wild at Heart (1990). In Wild at Heart, she played Lula Fortune Pentothal alongside Nicolas Cage as Sailor Ripley.
