Initially working as a Page 3 Girl for British tabloids and appearing in magazines like Mayfair and High Society, she later moved to Hollywood and became known as the 'scream queen' after starring in and producing several slasher films during the 1980s. She retired from acting and producing in 2002 but continues to live in Los Angeles, enjoying horse riding and spending time with family.

"Karen Mayo-Chandler launched her career on British television, debuting as Sandra in the series 'Flesh and Blood' (1982). Post that role, she crossed the Atlantic to entertain audiences worldwide. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, this English rose graced American screens generously. Her allure was undeniable, captivating viewers each time she appeared on camera. As a model, Mayo-Chandler posed for prestigious publications such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and even bared it all in Playboy, sharing insights into her relationship with Jack Nicholson.

Her acting career took off when she played a receptionist in the smash hit 'Beverly Hills Cop' (1984). She then transitioned from minor roles to more substantial and revealing parts. In 'Hamburger... The Motion Picture' (1986), Mayo-Chandler and her nudity stole the show. This was followed by titillating performances in 'Death Feud' (1987) and 'Take Two' (1988).
