"Sharon Mitchell has led a life straight out of a Paul Thomas Anderson-directed tragicomedy film, akin to Boogie Nights, but with herself as the leading lady during the '70s and '80s Golden Age of Porn. Her notable works include Sexcapades (1983), Night Hunger (1983), and D.O.D.: Dick of Death (1985). She ventured into mainstream films such as Night of the Juggler (1980) and Class of Nuke 'Em High Part II: Subhumanoid Meltdown (1991), mirroring many porn stars of her time who made similar transitions.
