Her younger brother Cody lives nearby with his friend Russ, often visiting Lacey's place. Lacey has a complicated love life; she dates Jason, the photographer who sleeps with Vanessa, leading to their breakup. She then dates Rick, a fireman, but their relationship doesn't last due to differing interests. Lacey focuses on her career instead, creating a new 'Metro' line of lingerie showcased at a New York City Spring Fashion Show.
