Full Biography

Diane Kruger, born on July 15, 1976, gained worldwide recognition early in her career. She is known for her roles in various films including Troy (2004), National Treasure (2004) and its sequel, Inglourious Basterds (2009), and Unknown (2011). Kruger also starred in the FX crime drama series The Bridge (2013–14) and made her German-language debut in In the Fade (2017), for which she won the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress.

Story

Romy and her husband are vacationing in the southwest US when they get into a heated argument. Romy strikes her husband with a heavy lamp in a fit of anger, believing she has killed him. Panicked, she goes on the run across the United States alone. Eventually, she turns herself in to authorities but discovers that her husband is alive. Deciding to start anew, she meets Diego and begins a new life with him. However, Diego harbors a secret that could potentially disrupt Romy's future.
