Her acting debut followed shortly after, portraying Judy in Hot T-Shirts (1980). Penthouse beckoned again, naming her August 1981 Playmate of the Month. Leaning into her iconic assets, Wahl secured a bit role in The Star Maker (1981) alongside Rock Hudson and Suzanne Pleshette, then bared all in the comedic romp C.O.D. (1981). In November 1982, Penthouse crowned Corinne Pet of the Year, gracing her with the cover and an exclusive pictorial.
