Claire van der Boom, of Dutch ancestry, is an Australian actress known internationally for her role as Stella in HBO's 'The Pacific' and her recurring part as Det. Danno Williams' ex-wife in the 2010 remake of 'Hawaii Five-0'. She appeared in 'Battlecreek' (2017), playing Alison, a mysterious woman who helps Henry discover new aspects of life despite his rare sun disease.

Story
Henry, a loner with a rare skin disease that prevents him from being exposed to sunlight, lives with his overprotective mother in Battlecreek, a small Southern town. He works night shifts at a gas station and spends his nights swimming in the creek under the moonlight. His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Alison, a young woman whose car breaks down in Battlecreek. Alison answers a 'help wanted' sign at the diner to pay for her car repairs. Henry is immediately drawn to Alison, who shows him that there's more to life than his sheltered existence.
