Elisabeth Singleton Moss, born July 24, 1982, is an American actress and producer known for her notable roles in television dramas. She gained early recognition for playing Zoey Bartlet in 'The West Wing' (1999-2006) and received wider acclaim for her role as Peggy Olson in 'Mad Men' (2007-2015). Moss won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film for portraying Detective Robin Griffin in the BBC miniseries 'Top of the Lake' (2013). Additionally, she won two Primetime Emmy Awards and another Golden Globe Award for producing and starring in the Hulu series 'The Handmaid's Tale' (2017-present). Moss has also appeared in several films such as 'Girl, Interrupted' (1999), 'Get Him to the Greek' (2010), and 'Us' (2019).
