Sherrie Rose, born in a trailer park, attended the University of South Florida at age 16 as an engineering student. She excelled on the Dean's List for electrical engineering and theatrical performance simultaneously. Inspired by the camaraderie she witnessed while installing sound equipment in the theater, she pursued acting. Rose received critical acclaim for her performances in 'Miami Vice' (1984), 'Summer Job' (1989), and 'Tales from the Crypt' (1989), earning an Emmy nomination for the latter. She shares a birthday with Billy Zane, whom she acted alongside in 'Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight'. Rose wrote, directed, produced, and starred in her own film, 'Me and Will', which opened the 'Women in Film' series on Sundance Channel. Her relationships include Michael DeLuise, Ray Liotta, Dave Navarro, and Shane West.

After a break-in at their Los Angeles home, Michael and Karen Carr call the police. Officer Pete Davis responds to their call, showing particular interest in their case. He helps them install a security system and begins stopping by unannounced, often overstepping his duties.
