She has appeared in over 60 films and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her role as Patsy Cline in 'Coal Miner's Daughter' (1980) and an Emmy Award for her role as Stella Kowalski in the TV film 'A Streetcar Named Desire' (1984). D'Angelo also notably played Sheila Franklin in 'Hair' (1979), a movie based on the cult Broadway musical about a young man named Claude who moves to New York City and befriends a group of hippies led by Berger, eventually falling in love with Sheila.

Sharon Farrell was born Sharon Forsmoe on December 24, 1940, in Sioux City, Iowa. She began her career as a ballerina with the American Ballet Theatre company before transitioning to acting. Farrell made her film debut in 'Kiss Her Goodbye' (1959) and went on to appear in notable films like '40 Pounds of Trouble' (1962), 'A Lovely Way to Die' (1968), and 'Marlowe' (1969). She worked prolifically in television, including recurring roles in 'Saints and Sinners' (1962-63), 'Dr. Kildare' (1965), and 'Hawaii Five-O' (1980-81). Farrell also appeared in horror films such as 'It's Alive' (1974) and 'Night of the Comet' (1984), and her final film was 'Can't Buy Me Love' (2000). She married five times and had one son, Chance Boyer. Farrell died on May 15, 2023, at age 82.
