Karen Hassan was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in July 1981, one of five sisters. Initially quiet but always interested in acting, she studied drama at Queens University before becoming a professional actress. She started with minor roles in films and TV shows, then gained prominence playing Lynsey Nolan first in 'Hollyoaks Later' series one (2008), followed by a regular role as the same character in Hollyoaks from 2010.

Story
