Full Biography

Virginie Ledoyen, born Virginie Fernandez on 15 November 1976, is a French actress and model who began her career at age two with television advertisements. She started acting lessons at nine and made her film debut at ten in 'Les exploits d'un jeune Don Juan' (1986). Ledoyen was nominated for the César Award for Most Promising Actress three times between 1993 and 1995. Her international breakthrough came in 1999 when she became an ambassador for L'Oréal, leading to her role in 'The Beach' (2000) with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Story

In 1958, at the remote Saint Ange Orphanage in the French Alps, young Anna Jurin arrives to help with the transition of the orphaned children as they are moved to new families. Secretly pregnant herself, Anna forms a bond with Judith, the last orphan left behind due to her mental issues. Both Anna and Judith begin to experience strange phenomena: hearing voices and footsteps of unseen children throughout the building. Intrigued by these occurrences, Anna starts investigating the orphanage's secrets, determined to uncover the truth about the mysterious presence of the invisible children.
