Greta Scarano started her professional acting career with a role in the TV series R.I.S. - Delitti imperfetti. She then played Sabrina Guarini in the Rai 3 soap opera Un Posto al Sole from 2008 to 2009, and Inspector Francesca Leoni in the Canale 5 crime series Squadra antimafia – Palermo oggi from 2012 to 2015. Scarano won awards for her performances, including the Guglielmo Biraghi Award at the Silver Ribbon Awards for Without Pity in 2015, and Nastro d'Argento for Best Supporting Actress and Ciak d'oro as discovery of the year for Suburra in 2016.
