Glynis Barber, born Glynis van der Riet on October 25, 1955 in South Africa, is an actress known for various television roles such as Sgt. Harriet Makepeace in 'Dempsey and Makepeace', Glenda Mitchell in 'EastEnders', DCI Grace Barraclough in 'Emmerdale', Fiona Brake in 'Night and Day', and Soolin in 'Blake's 7'. In 2022, she joined the cast of 'Hollyoaks' as Norma Crow. Barber is also known for her role as Caroline in the 1983 movie 'Wicked Lady', where she played a bored noblewoman who turns to highway robbery for thrills after marrying Sir Ralph.
