Gio Petré, born Ann-Mari Birgitta Bengtsdotter Petré, was a Swedish actress known for her sensual and provocative roles on screen. Born into an artistic family, she debuted at 18 in 'Flottans muntergökar' (1955). After studying at Gösta Terserus theatre school and graduating from the Royal Dramatic Theatre School in 1959, Petré appeared in over 27 feature films and television productions.
