"Elis initially entered the entertainment sphere in the 1991 English-made but Spanish language film, 'La Pastorela', featuring prominent Spanish-speaking talents such as Linda Ronstadt and Cheech Marin. Paul Rodriguez notably played 'Satanas'. Elis, however, was assigned a minor role as 'Angel' in this Christmas production. She then took a hiatus from acting until her reappearance in the 1997 film, 'This World, Then the Fireworks', where she appeared nude as 'The Neighbor's Wife'. Although her nudity was brief and one of few redeeming features of an otherwise poorly received movie, it did secure her place among gratuitously naked characters in cinema."

Story
In the 1950s, Marty Lakewood returns to his small hometown on the California coast after being forced to leave Chicago due to uncovering police corruption. He reunites with his ailing mother and prostitute sister, with whom he had an incestuous affair in the past.
