Natalie Dormer, born in Reading, Berkshire, England, attended Chiltern Edge Secondary School and later Reading Blue Coat School. She was bullied at school but excelled academically, being head girl and vice-captain of the netball team. Trained in dance at Allenova School of Dancing, she intended to study history at Cambridge but changed her plans after not achieving the required A-level grade. Instead, she auditioned for drama schools and attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Story
Scandalous Lady W follows the tumultuous life of Lady Seymour Worsley in 18th century Britain.
