Rachel Annette Helson, born and raised in New York City, is a filmmaker known for her character-driven directing style, heavily influenced by her acting background which includes roles in series like 'Full Circle', 'The Knick', and 'Law & Order: SVU'. A graduate of NYU Tisch, she achieved the distinction of being the youngest producer nominated for a Tony Award while working on Broadway. In 2024, Helson directed her fourth feature film, an adaptation of the bestselling novel 'The Air He Breathes', and her short film 'Good Daughter' qualified for the 2025 Academy Awards.

Story
Power follows James 'Ghost' St. Patrick, a wealthy New York entrepreneur who secretly runs an international drug trade catering to the rich and influential. Ghost wants to leave his criminal life behind and provide a legitimate future for himself and his family. His childhood friend and business partner Tommy Egan supports their operation while also serving as Ghost's enforcer. Meanwhile, Ghost is married to Tasha St. Patrick, who plays an active role in managing their legitimate businesses, but struggles with the secrets of her husband's past. Complicating matters further is Angela Valdes, Ghost's first love and Assistant U.S. Attorney, who becomes increasingly involved in investigating his criminal activities.
