Arly Jover, born Araceli Jover in Melilla, Spain, moved to Mallorca at age five due to her father's military service. She began dancing at eight and won a scholarship at 15 to study ballet under Martha Graham in New York City. After two years, she turned to acting, debuting in an episode of 'Women: Stories of Passion' around 1995-1996. Her notable roles include Mercury in 'Blade' (1998).
