She appeared in over 40 films between 1964 and 1991, including notable works like 'Le sedicenni' (1965) and 'The Innocent' (1976). She won the Nastro d'Argento for her role in 'Malizia'. Antonelli was married to Enrico Piacentini but later had a relationship with Jean-Paul Belmondo. In 1991, she faced cocaine charges but successfully appealed the conviction in 2006.
