Tara Buckman, born October 1, 1956, is an American actress with an active career spanning from the late 1970s to the mid-1990s. Though she never achieved major stardom, she was a regular guest star in numerous television series of the 1970s and 1980s, including The Rockford Files, Kojak, CHiPs, Quincy, M.E., and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. She also had recurring roles on The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo and portrayed Norma Kirkland on Days of our Lives in 1984/1985. In film, Buckman played minor roles in larger productions like Hooper and The Cannonball Run alongside Burt Reynolds. Notably, she appeared in the controversial horror film Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984), playing a character who is raped and murdered by Santa Claus. Her most recent major role was as Dr. Julie Casserly in Xtro 2 (1991). Other films she appeared in include Never Too Young to Die, Blue Angel Cafe, High Finance Woman, The Marilyn Diaries, and Snowballing.
