Anna Silk, born January 31, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, is a Canadian actress of British and Turkish Cypriot-English descent. She attended St. Thomas University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Silk began her acting career in theatre before moving to Toronto in 1999. Her television debut was on 'Twice in a Lifetime' (2000), followed by recurring roles in 'The Newsroom' (2001) and appearances in 'Smallville', 'Stargate Atlantis', and 'The L Word'. Silk gained significant recognition for her role as Bo Dennis in the supernatural drama 'Lost Girl' (2010-2015), earning several awards, including a Canadian Screen Award for Best Actress.
