Laurence Charlotte Leboeuf, born December 13, 1985, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is a Canadian actress. She is the daughter of actors Marcel Leboeuf and Diane Lavallée. Leboeuf's acting debut was as Évelyne Boivin in the French Canadian television series Virginie. She has appeared in various roles such as Louise Lavigueur in Les Lavigueur, la vraie histoire and Apple in Turbo Kid. Leboeuf has received accolades including a Prix Jutra for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in My Daughter, My Angel (Ma fille mon ange), and a Canadian Screen Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series for Transplant.

Story

A man named Fred Moreau flees his betraying family with a briefcase full of stolen money and hides in a cottage by Lake Kaionwahere with his dog Jules. He soon encounters two intriguing figures: a mysterious fisherman who becomes his neighbor, and a dancer who is hiding from someone. Meanwhile, a policeman in love with the dancer arrives searching for her.
