Alexandra Maria Lara, born on 12 November 1978, is a Romanian-German actress known for her roles in prominent films such as 'Downfall' (2004), 'Control' (2007), 'Youth Without Youth' (2007), 'The Reader' (2008), and 'Rush' (2013). She has appeared alongside Chris Hemsworth in the latter film, which is based on the true story of the rivalry between Formula 1 drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda during the glamorous golden age of racing in the 1970s.

Natalie Dormer, born in Reading, Berkshire, England, attended Chiltern Edge Secondary School and later Reading Blue Coat School. She was bullied at school but excelled academically, being head girl and vice-captain of the netball team. Trained in dance at Allenova School of Dancing, she intended to study history at Cambridge but changed her plans after not achieving the required A-level grade. Instead, she auditioned for drama schools and attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
