Full Biography

Julie Sokolowski, known for her role as Céline van Hadewijch in 'Hadewijch' (2009), was initially an aspirant nun studying at a convent before returning to her parents' home in Paris. She befriended Yassine Chikh, the Muslim teenage brother of religious leader Nassir Chikh. Despite her vow of celibacy and commitment to God, Céline becomes involved with Nassir's radical group, unknowingly serving as a tool for his terrorist activities.

Story

Hadewijch follows Céline van Hadewijch, a young woman who leaves her convent after being asked to do so. She returns to Paris and reconnects with Yassine Chikh, an old Muslim friend of hers. Despite telling him she has dedicated herself to God and will remain celibate, Céline spends more time with Yassine. Yassine introduces Céline to his brother Nassir Chikh, who is a religious leader and, unbeknownst to Céline, a terrorist.
