Jennifer Podemski, born and raised in Toronto, Canada, began her acting career as a teenager. She gained prominence with roles such as Pique in CBC's The Diviners and Dance Me Outside. Noticing a lack of diversity behind the camera, she co-founded Big Soul Productions at 25, the first Aboriginal owned production company in Canada. Podemski has since founded Redcloud Studios and maintained a successful acting career, notably appearing in 'Take This Waltz' (2011) among other films.
