Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell (born March 27, 1970) is an American actress known for her roles as Dr. Juliet Burke on ABC's 'Lost' and FBI agent Erica Evans on 'V'. Born to Josephine Marian Jenkins and stepfather Joseph Day Mitchell in Dallas, Texas, she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and Stephens College with a BFA in acting. Mitchell worked extensively in theater before transitioning to television and film. Notable roles include Dr. Kim Legaspi in 'ER' and Angelina Jolie's hairdresser/lover in 'Gia'. She won an Emmy nomination for her guest role in the series finale of 'Lost'. Mitchell married actor Chris Soldevilla in 2004, having a son named C.J., but they divorced in 2013.
