Jennifer Jason Leigh, born Jennifer Leigh Morrow on February 5, 1962, began her acting career during the 1970s on television and made her film debut in 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' (1982). She gained critical acclaim for roles in films like 'Last Exit to Brooklyn' (1989), 'Single White Female' (1992), and 'The Hudsucker Proxy' (1994). Leigh was nominated for a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Dorothy Parker in 'Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle' (1994). She starred in 'Road to Perdition' (2002) and had a recurring role on 'Weeds' (2009–2012). Leigh received critical acclaim for her voice work in 'Anomalisa' (2015) and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 'The Hateful Eight' (2015). She starred in Netflix's 'Atypical' from 2017 to 2021 and appeared in films like 'Annihilation' (2018) and 'Possessor' (2020).
