Born on September 15, 1977, in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, Caterina Murino started her career as a model after placing fourth in Miss Italy in 1996. She moved to Milan and acted in stage productions like 'Richard III' while studying acting at the Scuola di Cinema e Teatro di Francesca de Sapio from 1999-2000. Murino made her film debut in bit roles in Italian, German, and French productions starting in 2002. Her breakthrough came in 2004 with 'L'enquête Corse'. She is trilingual (Italian, French, English), a versatile actress, and skilled in various dances and horseback riding. Notably, she co-starred as Solange in 'Casino Royale' (2006) alongside Daniel Craig.

Story
A young American writer named David Bourne, fresh from his service in WWI, travels through Europe with his new wife Catherine and her Italian friend Marita. The journey turns into an exploration of their desires and boundaries when Catherine brings Marita along to spice up their relationship.
