Parker Posey, born November 8, 1968, is an American actress known for her work in independent films throughout the 1990s, earning her the title 'Queen of the Indies'. She made her film debut in 'Joey Breaker' (1993) and had notable roles in 'Dazed and Confused' (1993), 'The Daytrippers' (1996), and 'You've Got Mail' (1998). Posey has also worked with Christopher Guest in several of his mockumentaries. In addition to her film work, she has appeared in various television shows like 'Futurama', 'The Good Wife', and 'Lost in Space'.
