Jennifer Jason Leigh, born Jennifer Leigh Morrow on February 5, 1962, began her acting career during the 1970s on television and made her film debut in 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' (1982). She gained critical acclaim for roles in films like 'Last Exit to Brooklyn' (1989), 'Single White Female' (1992), and 'The Hudsucker Proxy' (1994). Leigh was nominated for a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Dorothy Parker in 'Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle' (1994). She starred in 'Road to Perdition' (2002) and had a recurring role on 'Weeds' (2009–2012). Leigh received critical acclaim for her voice work in 'Anomalisa' (2015) and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 'The Hateful Eight' (2015). Story
In the early 1960s, Lydia and her teenage son Sam are forced to leave their home in North Carolina due to Lydia's wild behavior. Lydia's powerful father, who is running for governor, sends them to live in a remote provincial town in Wyoming. Once there, Lydia continues her partying ways while Sam struggles to fit in at Grosvant High School.
