Full Biography

Farrah Fawcett (February 2, 1947 – June 25, 2009) was an American actress who gained international fame for her role as Jill Munroe in Charlie's Angels (1976–1977). She began her career appearing in commercials and TV guest roles in the 1960s. Fawcett's iconic red swimsuit poster sold six million copies in its first year. After leaving Charlie's Angels after one season, she returned as a guest star in later episodes. Throughout her career, Fawcett received critical acclaim for her performances in films like The Apostle (1997) and TV movies such as The Burning Bed (1984). She was nominated four times for a Primetime Emmy Award and six times for a Golden Globe Award. Diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006, Fawcett passed away at age 62 three years later.
