She gained prominence for her role in Say Anything... (1989). Throughout the '90s, she appeared in films like Gas Food Lodging, Wayne's World, One Night Stand, Fever Pitch, and had an uncredited role in Zodiac. Skye also guest-starred on various TV series including The Twilight Zone, Private Practice, and Arrested Development. She is also a painter and author of children's books.
