Career Highlights:
Julie Hughes is renowned for her work as a prominent casting director in cinema. Her keen choices may have denied us the pleasure of numerous attractive actresses in films like 'Friday the 13th' (1980), 'Endless Love' (1981), and 'Blood Simple' (1984). Her discernment also extended to selecting dancers for 'A Chorus Line' (1985) and '42nd Street' (1986). Julie's talents weren't confined to the big screen; she also contributed to television hits ('The Cosby Show', 'A Different World') and TV movies ('John and Yoko: A Love Story', 'Ironclads'). Having established herself in the industry, Julie ventured into acting. She appeared in Garry Marshall's erotic comedy 'Exit to Eden' (1994), alongside notable figures such as Dana Delany and Iman. In this film, Julie made her nude debut, wearing a thong and dog collar, showcasing her unbridled assets and toned physique. Subsequently, she reprised her risqué role in the BDSM thriller 'Stormswept' (1995), where she masturbated onscreen while topless, and engaged in oral intimacy with a male co-star. Julie further displayed her enticing figure in the video 'Deadly Charades' (1996) before returning to acting with a comedic role in 'Night Stand' (1997). After lending her considerable presence to various productions, Julie returned to off-screen work as the casting director for the musical 'Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical' (2001).

Photographer Elliot Slater accidentally captures photographs of jewel thief Omar while on assignment. Unaware that he's being pursued by Omar, his partner Nina, and undercover police officers Fred and Sheila, Elliot travels to Eden Island for a private vacation where he intends to explore his submissive fantasies. Upon arrival at the island's S&M resort, Elliot becomes infatuated with Lisa, the head dominatrix. Meanwhile, Omar and Nina arrive on the island, hoping to retrieve the incriminating photographs from Elliot before the police do.
Exit to Eden is a 1994 romantic comedy thriller directed by Garry Marshall, based on Erica Jong's novel of the same name. The film blends humor with themes of sexuality and desire as it follows Elliot Slater, who inadvertently finds himself entangled in a web of jewel smuggling while pursuing his submissive fantasies on an exclusive island resort. Despite its provocative setting, the movie is primarily concerned with Elliot's romantic pursuits and the comedic misadventures that ensue.
