(1982), followed by appearances on TV shows like 'T.J. Hooker' and 'Family Ties'. Russell gained prominence with her breakout role as Jordan Leigh-Jensen in the comedy 'Private School' (1983). She starred in several B-movies throughout the 1980s, including 'Tomboy' and 'Cheerleader Camp', and had recurring roles on TV series such as 'The A-Team'. Russell resides in Malibu, California. She was married to actor Vincent Van Patten from 1989 to 2001, with whom she has two sons.
