She has appeared in notable productions such as 'The Crow', 'Nixon', 'Red Corner', 'Crank: High Voltage', 'Dumplings', 'Wild Wild West', 'Anna and the King', 'Southland Tales', 'Maximum Impact', 'Entourage', and 'Lost'. Notably, she won Best Supporting Actress awards at both the 2004 Hong Kong Film Awards and the 2004 Golden Horse Awards in Taiwan for her role in 'Dumplings'.

Story

Paris follows rookie detective Jason Bartok as he navigates through the shadowy underworld of Los Angeles and Las Vegas after accidentally shooting his corrupt partner Leon during a crime scene robbery. Overwhelmed with guilt, Jason takes to the road in pursuit of Linda/Shen Li, Leon's lover and an illegal Chinese immigrant, to return the stolen money to her. His search leads him through seedy motels, bars, massage parlors, and ranches until he finally finds Linda in a dingy Vegas dive. Pursued by thugs seeking the stolen money, Jason and Linda are forced to flee together across the haunting landscape of the California desert.
