Lena Olin, born Lena Maria Jonna Olin on March 22, 1955 in Stockholm, Sweden, is a renowned Swedish actress with an impressive career spanning over four decades. Mentored by Ingmar Bergman, she began her acting journey with roles in his films 'Face to Face' and 'Fanny and Alexander'. Her international breakthrough came with the role of Sabina in 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being' (1988), earning her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She received further acclaim for 'Enemies, A Love Story' (1989) and 'Chocolat' (2000). On television, Olin is known for her role as Irina Derevko in 'Alias' (2002-2006), earning an Emmy nomination.
