Full Biography

Polly Alexandra Walker was born on May 19, 1966 in Warrington, England. Initially pursuing ballet, she injured herself at age 18 and subsequently trained at London's Drama Centre under the Royal Shakespeare Company. After playing minor roles in television and theatre, Polly secured her first notable role as Lorna Doone in the TV series of the same name (1990). She then made her film debut in Journey of Honor (1991) before gaining attention for her role as an English woman in an Irish terrorist brigade in Patriot Games (1992).
